My name is Ella and I am a fourth year interior design student at the University of Georgia! I am also pursuing my furniture design certificate and expect to graduate in May 2026.

I am now a well rounded college student trained in hand drafting, computer software, oil paint, woodworking, and more. Before that, I was a high school student watercoloring when I could. Before that, I was an 8th grader creating and selling handmade cards to raise money for a school trip to Washington D.C. And even before that, I was a first grader with Crayolas dreaming up interiors and illustrating my own books at the kitchen table. Over the years, I have learned how to accept my gifts after running from them, and lean into who I am after trying to follow a path everyone else was on. I've experienced many "coming home" moments to my creative tendencies. When I started college, I quickly realized the importance of pursuing your passions and doing what you love. Art is my first love, and I am blessed to be in a place that challenges, inspires, and nurtures my creative side. My documentation of it all doubles as my coming of age story as I see myself and the way that I have grown throughout the years.

I look for beauty in every part of life. I believe you can find the good in every moment, and that there are many beautiful "lessons learned" that grow through the cracks after failure and boredom. My greatest sources of inspiration come from nature (where I love to spend my time), the American west (as a Colorado native), and Cortona, Italy (where I most recently studied abroad for a summer). Some of my greatest joys and fulfilments are working with my hands, creating beautiful things, and doing it all in love.

Thank you for joining me as I continue this journey. I am looking forward to building my career and honing in on my interests and skills. Another thank you to everyone who has supported me and loved me through it all. I wouldn't be here without you!

With love,
